Champs Fleury

Made from a blend of several grape varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot), a supple wine with aromas of dark red fruits. Maturing in oak barrels increases its flavours on a light roasting. Accompanies red meat, game and cheese. Intense red colour. Aromas of black plum, blackcurrant, blackberries and blueberries that evolve with spicy hints. Generous, ample, harmonious, Champ Fleury offers a subtle nose. On the palate, its attack is supple, then impregnates with a carnal roundness that culminates in a long finish with fine tannins. Cold pre-fermentation maceration followed by a traditional vatting. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels. This typical Bordeaux blend benefits from a suitable terroir. The best plots and the choice of grapes is essential to the success of this blend. South and south-east facing. Low vine in Guyot. Clay and silty soil, moraine, grassy soil, slight slope.
