Chenin

A very complex grape variety, the wine is both structured and tender, supported by a slight acidity with grapefruit aromas. Nose of honey, caramel, apricot, apple and pear. Goes well vwith asparagus soup, poultry, fish, foie gras, cheese, mushrooms, white meats, fresh fruit desserts. Light yellow to golden, sparkling. Long persistence, lively, complex balance between vacidity and fruit. Vinification and maturation in vats. A noble and sophisticated grape variety. Eastern situation, low vine in Guyot. Limestone soil, grassy, slight slope.
