Initial Rouge

Round, ruby-coloured wine, with flavours similar to Cabernet Sauvignon, sweet tannins, fruity, aromas of black fruit, mushrooms, pepper and nutmeg, violet. Accompanies cheeses, fresh pasta, Asian cooking and chocolate desserts. On the nose, it has a pretty bouquet marked by red fruits, deep floral notes and rose notes. If its attack starts on freshness and fruit, it quickly asserts its suppleness and all its power. Vinification and maturation in vats. Natural wine made from new grape varieties, Cabertin and Cabernet-Jura, obtained by crossing, resistant to diseases (mildew, powdery mildew) and therefore not requiring any phytosanitary treatments. Low vines in Guyot. Clay and silty soil, moraine, grassy soil, slight slope.

Grappes: 60% Carbertin & 40% Cabernet Jura.
